Prof. Ussiju Medaner, former secretary, All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar only knows how to get a presidential ticket.
Medaner asserted that Atiku lacks supporters who could assist him in winning the election. He stated this on Friday while fielding questions on Arise Television’s Morning program.
He was responding to the question about the recent claim by some leaders of the APC that the opposition on the platform of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, was only making noise.
He stated, "It's just making noise if you look at some of the opposition activities." They don't take care of their own waste. Election is more than just talking. Thinking is election.
“Some of the opposition, like Atiku Abubakar, he knows how to get ticket but he doesn’t have those people that can win general election.
“I was in CPC and supported Buhari but we didn’t have those that could win the election, that was the problem. I think you need to have those that can win the election.”
