Nigerian Afrobeat Star Wizkid has expressed his satisfaction with the Super Eagles preparations ahead of the FIFA World Championships with Rwanda in Kigali from 2026. The team is now under the direction of newly appointed head coach Eric Chelle and held its first training Tuesday afternoon under the direction of the head coach.

The crucial qualifying game will be held on Friday, March 21st at Amaholo Stadium in Rwanda. Kick-off is planned at 5pm Nigeria time .
After the match, Nigeria will return to Uyo on Tuesday. The Super Eagles will need to secure maximum points from both games to enhance their chances of competing in the 2026 World Cup.
