Buhari Could’ve Died Long Ago If He Used Hospitals In Nigeria – Femi Adesina

Femi Adesina, a former presidential spokesman, has stated that if former President Muhammadu Buhari had sought treatment at Nigerian hospitals, he may not have been able to overcome his health issues.

Mr. Adesina led this out on Tuesday during an interview with Channels Television held in honour of the late president. The seasoned journalist said that Buhari had always been treated in London, even before he became president in 2015.

Mr. Adesina defended his former principal’s decision to seek medical care abroad, stating that it was a matter of survival rather than showmanship. He said: “Like I said, he always had his medicals in London, even when he was not in office. So it was not about the time he was president alone.

“He could have been dead for a very long time if he had stated, "I will do my medicals in Nigeria just as a show-off or something," as the country might not have the necessary expertise. To change or correct certain things in your country, you must first be alive.

“Those who believably talk of going abroad, going abroad, they don’t know that a man needs to be alive first before he can effect a change.
