APC remains strong despite Ganduje’s resignation – APC chieftain

Mr. Olusegun Olulade, a former legislator from Lagos, claims that the resignation of APC National Chairman Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje should not be celebrated by opposition parties. In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria that took place on Monday in Lagos, Olulade stated that Ganduje's resignation did not signal a crisis within the ruling party.

He said the former party chairman resigned based on health grounds and urged opposition leaders to stop reading negative meanings into the development. Olulade, Executive Director of Galaxy Backbone Limited, stated that the party continued to be victorious and expressed optimism that the organization would defeat all of its rivals in 2027.

Our party is getting stronger and will win in 2027; there is nothing to be afraid of." There is no crisis in the party. “Ganduje has come out to say his resignation was on health grounds. He is not fighting, the APC is not in trouble, and our party is powerful. Olulade stated, "There is nothing to worry about, in fact, we are comfortable as a party, we are good, we are sailing on top in APC, and we are not worried." He added, "There is nothing to worry about."

Wishing Ganduje well in future endeavors, Olulade said that the former ruling party chairman had written his name in gold with the bold step. “It is rare in politics that someone will resign on health grounds. Ganduje has written his name in gold for taking that commendable decision.

The party has been growing in leaps and bounds and getting stronger. In fact, the opposition is the source of the current fear. “We don’t have any reason to panic. The party remains strong despite Ganduje’s resignation,” Olulade said.
